The 09S45-01-2-04S is a 6-pole single-deck rotary switch manufactured by the Taiwanese manufacturers Hengtong Switch. This type of switch is commonly used in industrial, automotive, and other applications that require switching of multiple electrical signals that operate at different frequency levels. It features 2 poles with on/off operations and 4 poles with on/off/on positions. The switch also features flux-resistant contact construction and mounting hardware, making it extremely reliable and long-lasting.

The 09S45-01-2-04S consists of a switch body, a shaft and contacts. It can handle a maximum current of 0.4A, and a maximum voltage of AC 10 A or the corresponding DC operation. The switch body consists of a frame, a cylindrical part and a securing ring. The shaft is made of stainless steel and is mounted on the frame. It is 3mm in diameter and has a maximum rotation angle of 470 degrees. The contacts are gold plated, and the contact spring is made of beryllium copper.

When the switch is turned in the clockwise or anticlockwise direction, the internal contact of the switch wipes the various contact points located on either the outer or inner parts of the contacts.
