The 0ZRE0055FF1A consists of a PTC thermistor, a heating element and an electronic switch. When the current passing through the thermistor reaches a certain level, it generates heat which will cause the PTC thermistor to change from a low resistance state to a high resistance state. This limits the current to the heating wire and the electronic switch will be activated, shutting off the circuit. The resetting process begins when the current drops below the over-current protection limit and the heating element cools down. The PTC thermistor will return to its low resistance state and the electronic switch will be reset, allowing current to flow through the circuit again.In conclusion, the 0ZRE0055FF1A is a kind of PTC Resettable Fuses which can be widely used in applications with small current.
