Power entry connectors (PEC) are a selection of inlets, outlets, modules, filters, and accessories used for commercial and industrial applications. PECs provide a dependable interface between electrical equipment and the power entry cord. In some cases, the PEC contains both an inlet and outlet. Installation management is simplified with power entry connectors that use various locking and mounting methods. PECs also contain overload protection and active components.

The 1-6609101-4 power entry connector is a single-stage inlet, outlet and filter combination unit designed for enclosed electronics applications. It is UL, CSA, and VDE certified. Symbol ZA2. The 1-6609101-4 features an inlet with a solder terminal; it also has one basic outlet with a solder terminal.

Application field

Working Principle

The 1-6609101-4 power entry connector features an inlet which fits a standard plug, and a combination of a basic outlet and a C14 type socket outlet. The inlet has solder terminals for connection to the PC board. The outlet features a solder terminal for connection to the PC board. Each power entry connector comes with a lever actuated 6A 125VAC terminal disconnect, and a protective filter assembly. The protective filter assembly features a suppressor connector with two snap-in self-locking retention clips that support the filter assembly in the connector.

The 1-6609101-4 power entry connector also features internal slots for use with external mounting brackets. The mounting brackets must be requested separately. The power entry connector can easily be secured to a panel using two screws. The mounting screws have captive heads, making installation easier.

The 1-6609101-4 power entry connector is UL and CSA approved. It meets the applicable requirements of Underwriters Laboratories Inc. For specific certifications, please refer to the approval marks on the power entry connectors.
