Working Principle

102541-8 connector is a two part locking type connector. The metal bowl of 102541-8 connectors includes a mounting base and the cover. The mounting base is attached to the circuit board and features a set of terminals that will connect the circuit board to the outside power sources or other components. The cover fits over the top of the terminals and is secured with a threaded retaining ring that is applied by hand. This feature ensures a tight and secure fit and helps to keep the terminals and the PC board in place.

The connector is designed with four terminal configurations. Three of the configurations are designed for both the incoming and outgoing signal lines and the fourth configuration is designed for the third line which serves as the ground line.
