Working Principle

1232AX2119 can be directly mounted and soldered onto the printed circuit board. It is mainly composed of a sliding contact, a compression spring, and a fixed contact, which is surrounded by a plastic shell. The switch is turned on or off when the sliding contact is pressed or released. During operation, the sliding contact is pressed down, and the compression spring provides a certain pressure to keep the contact in good contact with the fixed contact. When the contact is released, the plastic shell returns to the original enough to push the sliding contact and spring into the off position. The internal structure of the switch is designed to be low profile for small product applications. It is designed for reliable switching operations, which ensures a long mechanical life-span. The terminals are covered with epoxy resin potting, which further improves the switch\'s resistance to extreme temperatures and shock. The switch is vibration proof and also environmentally sealed, making it suitable for high usage applications.
