In order to remain the continue of the whole process, the whole system turns into open-loop, the cold heat exchanger with warm side absorbing heat from a higher temperature which from heat conducting plates and radiators, and then conveying this heat into higher temperature environment, and the cold gas entering the pulse tube absorbing heat from the refrigerator system and finally discharging that hot gas into the warm exchanger.

The pulse tube refrigerator consists of several components like the actuator, cold head\heatsink, pulse tube, and wiring, etc. The actuator is an electromagnetic device with power amplifier that creates alternating compression wave into the pulse tube, the cooling media like nitrogen, helium is connected to the cold head and the condenser to the heat exchanger, after the cold head absorb the heat from low temperature system, then the gas conveys to the condenser and then discharging hot gas to the heat exchanger, and recycles all the media again.

The applications and uses of pulse tube refrigerator is much wider, from its industrial uses, but also popular used for medical and laboratory researches, those sensitive fields beside other cooling products may offers longer durability of service as well as the lower cost advantage which can save much resource as well as time for the researchers.
