The capacitance is inversely related to the frequency; that is, the higher the frequency, the lower the capacitance. When the current in the capacitor is large, the dielectric can be saturated by the charge and the capacitance will drop considerably. This property limits the use of some capacitors for high current applications such as power delivery or power modulation.
