Tantalum Capacitors

The voltage across the terminals is maintained until the capacitance reaches a level at which the voltage can no longer be applied. The amount of charge stored by the capacitor is determined by its capacitance or capacitive reactance, which is determined by the materials used and the dimensions of the wound elements.
