1302261806, or simply known as 1806 motor, is an efficient electricity-driven motor, mainly applied in constant speed machines. It features high power, small size and low operating temperature. As to its working principle, 1806 motors generally works in three phases-- standstill, commutated rotation, and deceleration. When it has been switched on, the rotor will be turned on by the electromagnetic force, starts to rotate, and reaches a certain rotate speed according to the parameters set. This process is what we call the starting process. Then, the principle of electromagnetic induction force determines the direction and speed of the rotor’s movement. When the rotor is running, it will undergo commutated rotation just like what it does in the starting process. In the meantime, the commutator inside the rotor’s stator converts the contact of the rotor coil to a certain direction, so as to realize the balanced rotation. Finally, it moves to the deceleration phase. During this stage, the electric motor gradually slows down and comes to a complete halt. To conclude the working principle, the 1806 motor’s movement is subjected to multiple stator induction, moving in accordance with the starting, commutated rotation, as well as deceleration process.

It should be mentioned, however, that 1806 motor has two drawbacks. Firstly, the rotor sometimes gets stuck when it is subjected to heavy torque. Secondly, the motor’s efficiency, compared to other motors, is not as high, meaning excess energy is often wasted during operation. Despite this, 1806 motor is still a reliable driving force used in many appliances and machines.
