1755104-1 is an intelligent and compact fieldbus module for industrial control systems with Ethernet and RS-232 serial ports. It is a versatile input/output module used for data acquisition, control and network communication in industrial automation systems.The wide range of applications includes everything from simple I/O modules to intelligent controllers and high speed network communication modules. 1755104-1 is designed to be used in applications with high dynamic range and extreme flexibility for control and signal processing.1755104-1 is a cost effective solution for industrial automation systems that need to control processes or machines quickly. It can be used with any Ethernet, Serial or Tx/Rx protocol and is compatible with a wide range of communication protocols such as Modbus and Profinet.The fieldbus module is capable of handling up to 256 Inputs/Outputs (I/O) and is available in two sizes – 8 and 16 I/O. The module is also capable of providing up to 16 Digital Inputs (DI) and 16 Digital Outputs (DO) in 2-wire, 4-wire and 6-wire configurations for a maximum of 64 DI/DO.The 1755104-1 application field and working principle is based on the principle of distributed control and communication. It is a microprocessor based device that links the process control systems, networks, and peripheral equipment. It provides the functions of a master device to all connected slaves.It is also capable of self configuration of I/O functions. It can automatically detect the type of connected peripheral devices and configure itself accordingly. This is very helpful in the maintenance of the system.
