Fixed Inductors

Fixed inductors are electronic components that stores energy in the form of a magnetic field and then releasing the energy as electric current flows through it. Fixed inductors are classed as passive components because they do not require input power to function. The 186LY-682J series fixed inductors are made of ferrite cores wound with copper wire, and are composed of high-frequency small inductors used primarily in radio-frequency circuits.

In radio-frequency circuits, the 186LY-682J series winding type inductor is used as a signal filter to block and pass frequency components. This type of inductor also has anti-interference and signal limiting effects that make them suitable for radio frequency signal processing circuits. This series of inductors are mainly used for mobile phones, antenna matching circuits, and wireless communication equipment and other applications which need high frequency signal conversion.

The 186LY-682J series fixed inductors contains 68, 82, 100, 120, 150, 180, and 220uH inductance values. The inductors operate in temperatures of -40 to 85 degrees Celsius with a rated current of 0.1A. The specialized geometry of the core offers high efficiency and operability even in high-frequency ranges. 186LY-682J series are capable of withstanding magnetic saturation, and do not suffer from a high temperature aging problem.

Fixed inductors of the 186LY-682J series use ferrite cores with winding wires. Ferrite cores are preferred due to their ability to suppress eddy current losses. The windings of the 186LY-682J series are either round enamel copper wire or electrolytic copper wires. Electrolytic copper wires allow for a more efficient transfer of magnetic energy as compared to enamel copper wires. Both types of wires can be used depending on the requirements of the circuit.
