Panel Indicators

Panel indicators are a type of electrical instrument designed to indicate the status of a system. They are commonly used in areas such as street lamps, subways, lighting, and other public and industrial applications. They can also be used in control panel for alarm systems, door openers, and control systems. Panel indicators are generally composed of red and green LED lights encased in a plastic housing. The red LED indicates the presence of electricity in a given area while the green LED refers to the absence of electricity.

The operation of panel indicators depends upon the application in which they are used as different applications dictate different specifications. Generally, however, they work in the same way by connecting two electrical terminals to a circuit which, when energized, will activate the LED lights. Panel indicators can also be used as a failsafe measure to alert users of any potential errors or disruptions in the system. When an error or disruption is detected, the indicator lights will flash to indicate the issue and to warn users to take appropriate actions.

Pilot Lights

Pilot lights are a type of electrical indicator used to indicate the state of an electrical system. They are commonly found in domestic, industrial, and automotive applications and are used to signal when an electrical circuit is on, functioning correctly, or off. Pilot lights are typically encased in a plastic housing and are made up of small light bulbs, LEDs, or incandescent lamps. They may also be integrated with switches, push-buttons, and other electrical devices. Some pilot lights can be inverted, meaning that they will produce an illuminated signal when an electrical circuit is off.

Pilot lights work by using an electrical impulse to activate the light bulb within the housing. When the electrical impulse is applied, the light will come on. The light source and the electrical impulse source may both be connected to the same terminal, or the electrical impulse source may be connected to a separate terminal. Pilot lights are typically wired in series with other electrical components, allowing the user to see which components are on or off at any given time. When used as part of a control system, pilot lights can also be used to indicate system errors or warnings, and will remain illuminated until the issue is addressed.
