The checker consists of a sensor that registers when the tooling chuck has been opened and closed and an adjustable protrusion that registers when a terminal or IDC has been correctly inserted. The checker will stop the applicator and record any occurrence of failure in the terminal application.The 1-985-4 is controllable by a programmable logic controller (PLC) or manual station, making it suitable for semi-automated or fully automated assembly processes.
