1H0569-3 is a kind of RF directional coupler. It is mainly used in frequency domain or linear power measurement, antenna signal power measurement, receiver sensitivity tests, antenna radiation pattern testing and so on.The working principle of 1H0569-3 is complex but relatively straightforward once understood. On the transmitter side, the device works by separating a portion of the RF signal and feeding it as a reference signal to the power measuring instrument. This process is called coupler tapping. On the receiver side, the device works by coupling the signal into the receiver.First, the 1H0569-3 device splits the radio frequency signal into two signals. A portion of the radio frequency signal is kept as an input and the other portion of the signal is coupled into the power measuring instrument. This is the tapping of the reference signal.Second, the power measuring instrument then measures the power of the input signal and the reference signal and calculates the ratio between them.
