205PHC600K film capacitors are polarized and are frequently used in commercial and industrial applications. They are used in circuits such as motor control, transient suppression, power factor correction, power supply filtering, and switch mode power converters.

The working principle of a 205PHC600K film capacitor is relatively simple. When a voltage is connected to the leads of the capacitor, it will store an electrical charge in its metal winding. This charge can then be discharged by connecting an electrical circuit from the leads of the capacitor.
