With screw-clamp connection, the terminal pins are inserted into the slot of the terminal block and fixed with a screw. With the sliding connection, the pins are inserted from the back of the block and snapped into place. The terminal contact then presses onto the conductor and provides pressure contact and complete electrical contact.
