Discrete LED indicator products are a form of communication interface between a user and a product. They offer tactile and optical feedback through the use of light-emitting diodes (LEDs).Discrete LED indicators come in various shapes, sizes, and capabilities. These indicators serve as status and command indications. The 339EVGW is a bipolar transistor based on the VGW and GLV platforms. 339EVGW is to be operated between two voltage levels of 7V to 80V. It features a PNP, NPN BJT, which can drive both AC,DC loads, and act as a switch. It has two active leads, a base and a collector. The base is a control lead, which filters/amplifies input signals from a controller. The collector is power lead and responsible for driving the output load.Apart from its usage in on/off switching, 339EVGW can be used as an interface for discrete LED indicators.

In a discrete LED indication setup, 339EVGW is placed between the given voltage source and a discrete LED indicator. The input signal from the controller is applied to the base of 339EVGW, which filters the input signal and amplifies it. This amplified signal is then applied to the output load, that is, the LED indicators. The LED indicator will light up when the output voltage reaches its rated voltage. This allows us to control the LED as per our requirement by controlling the input signal.
