Fixed inductors, also known as fixed-value inductors, are electronic components designed for use in medium and high frequency circuits and are commonly used in antenna circuits. Fixed inductors are extended coils, consisting of a wire wound around a solid core material, usually ferrite. 3483-820M is one type of fixed inductors which has many application fields and works according to certain working principle.
Applications
3483-820M fixed inductors are mainly used as an antenna component. It can provide circuit matching and other functions, which is suitable for most medium and high frequency antennas. As a radio antenna component, it is capable of achieve electromagnetic wave radiation, radio broadcast and communication.
Besides, 3483–820M fixed inductors can also be used for power supply line radio frequency interference prevention. The inductor is connected in series with the switching power supply line, and then gets connected to the ground line. Therefore, it has an effect of induced decomposition, thus reducing the noise and interference from the input power supply line.
In addition, 3483–820M fixed inductors can also be employed in circuits that require radio signal attenuation. For example, when the signal voltage is too high and needs to be lowered under certain requirements, the inductor is connected in series with the circuit, so as to reduce the signal voltage. Similarly, it can also be used for signal waveform optimization.
Working Principle
The working principle of 3483–820M fixed inductors is the same as the normal inductor, namely electromagnetic induction. The core material of the inductor functions as the skeletal structure of the coil winding, and the entire inductor is constructed on a single core. The inductor absorbs energy from the current flowing through the circuit, and stores this energy in its magnetic field. Whenever the current in the circuit changes, the stored energy will also be released.
Under this principle, 3483–820M fixed inductors produce two important effects. Firstly, the inductor induces a voltage, which varies inversely with the rate of current change. This means that if the current increases, the induced voltage will become increasingly negative. On the other hand, if the current decreases, the induced voltage will become increasingly positive. This phenomenon is called inductive reactance. The second effect is caused by the inductor’s magnetic field. Whenever a current passes through the coil, the magnetic field lines become twisted by the induced voltage, creating a magnetic flux.
Thus, the 3483–820M fixed inductors can be used for many purposes. By controlling the current, it can be used to limit the voltage, reduce the interference of power supply lines, and adjust signal waveforms. It is a highly versatile component, capable of performing many tasks in a single circuit.
