The 348RPLF is a high precision voltage controlled clock generator with two local oscillators, suitable for extended temperature range, voltage range and supply voltage fields. The device is based on a reverse current design, which employs two reference voltages and two local oscillators to produce a clock signal. The output clock frequency is programmed using an internal digital control register, which is adjustable from 0 Hz to mid-GHz frequency range. The output signal of the device is stable and accurate even when the input voltage and/or the power supply voltage are subject to modest transient changes. The 348RPLF is optimized for applications in communications, industrial and automotive fields.
The main feature of the 348RPLF is its wide operating temperature range, which is suitable for extreme environmental conditions. It offers a low input voltage range of 0.8 – 1.25 V and a supply voltage range of 0.8 – 3.3V.
