Working Principle

The 3764-6303 connector is a two piece right angle ribbon connector, consisting of a female and male connector. The female connector has a socket with two rows of pins in it, and the male connector has a pin array that matches the socket. The two components need to be plugged in right angle in order to make the connection. To ensure continuity, the male pins are coated with a gold plating. This gold plating makes the connection extremely reliable, and ensures that the connection produces low resistance and low temperature rise.
