3AG Fuses

3AG fuses are a type of low voltage electrical fuse normally used in applications with a maximum voltage rating below 600 volts. They are most frequently installed in the electrical systems of residential and commercial buildings as a common means of protecting against electrical overloads or short circuits. In general, these fuses are composed of a current-limiting metal filament contained within a ceramic or glass body for insulation.

Application Field:

In these applications, the 3AG fuse is installed in series to the load.

Working Principle:
