  • The 3C92CTX is a type of optoisolator from Taiwan Semiconductor Corporation. It features a photovoltaic output with a maximum output current of 10mA. The core of its integrated circuit is constructed with a GaAs infrared LED and a GaAs photovoltaic detector. The GaAs detector is responsible for converting the current induced by the infrared light into a voltage signal. At the same time, it isolates the input signal from the output. The output of the 3C92CTX has an internal impedance of 19.5 kilo ohms, and is able to switch in an environment of up to 80 °C without compromising its performance. It also has a built-in RC circuit that allows for filtering of small voltage ripple and for delay in fast circuit applications.
