3TL55-7 is a single pole double throw (SPDT) toggle switch. It is composed of a continuously variable contact but also can be seen as two single-pole isolated switches connected in parallel. In order to close the contacts in the contact area, an actuating mechanism such as a lever or rocker arm is used and the connection is made when the contacts are brought into contact. It has a current rating up to 6A and can work up to the maximum voltage of 125VAC. It is also available in single and multi-pole switch versions.
