The 416F26011ATT is an oscillator crystal available from Abracon LLC (formerly Fox Electronics). It is an intelligent, low noise crystal oscillator designed for use in consumer electronics, automotive electronics, and industrial automation applications. With its wide range of features and small form factor, the 416F26011ATT is well suited for prototyping, development and end-product use.

The 416F26011ATT is available in 4 different package configurations, namely, Paramitop, LC, OMEG, and RoHS compliant. The Paramitop package is offered in 40.6 mm x 40.6 mm x 10.15 mm, LC in 10.4 mm x 7.7 mm x 4.5 mm, OMEG in 14.2 mm x 11.2 mm x 7.5 mm, and RoHS compliant in 14.2 mm x 11.2 mm x 7.5 mm. The frequency range is from 2 to 78 MHz with a frequency tolerance of better than +/-50 ppm. The 416F26011ATT oscillates in a temperature range of -20°C to 70°C and has a low power consumption of typically 105 mW. The drive level is up to 10 mW.

The 416F26011ATT utilizes a novel approach that makes use of the piezoelectric effect to achieve excellent accuracy and stability without the need for complicated oscillator circuitry. At the heart of this oscillator is a piezoelectric crystal which is able to convert mechanical energy into electrical energy and vice versa. The energy thus generated is used to feed the output signal with the required frequency.The working principle of the 416F26011ATT is related to the quartz crystal oscillator. A quartz crystal, being an excellent piezoelectric material, is suitable for oscillators due to its excellent piezoelectric properties. The piezoelectric effect is the creation of an electrical charge when a force is applied to a crystal.
