43-10PK application field and working principle

The 43-10PK is an incandescent quartz halogen lamp designed mainly for general lighting applications. It is widely used in hotels, offices, hospitals, conferences, entertainment venues, etc..

When an AC power supply is applied to the 43-10PK, an electric arc is generated inside a quartz tube. As the arc travels along the length of the tube, the quartz tube is heated up due to the energy generated by ionisation of the air molecules. This heating causes the quartz tube to expand, and this expansion intensifies the arc and allows a higher current to pass through it. This increase in current also increases the luminous efficiency of the lamp.

The luminous efficiency of the 43-10PK is further increased by its unique filament design.
