The 4379-394HS Fixed Inductor is a highly efficient inductor for use in high current power supply applications. The 4379-394HS Fixed Inductor is constructed using a unique high-temperature, low-resistance, annealed copper winding material and high-efficiency, low-loss ferrite core material molded in a robust die-cast aluminum housing. The copper windings are then encapsulated with a UL-approved, halogen-free, flame-retardant epoxy cover. The core material is encased in an aluminum die-cast housing which offers a high level of moisture protection and improved thermal transfer across the windings. The high-temperature rating of the die-cast aluminum housing provides a high level of performance and reliability in high temperature applications.
The 4379-394HS Fixed Inductor offers excellent frequency bandwidth characteristics and low power loss due to its high saturation current rating and low leakage inductance. The high saturation current rating enables the inductor to handle high peak currents and prevent core saturation during operation. The low leakage inductance reduces power losses and ensures the inductor meets all of its application requirements.
