Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) and Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) shielding and absorbing materials are products used to protect electronics from unnecessary interference. 47016 is a type of shielding and absorbing material made from a combination of ferrite, an absorbent material, and aluminum foil or copper mesh.
