Working Principle of 494131-1

The 494131-1 backplane connector consists of two independent pieces, the mating connector block and the backplane board. The mating connector block includes a contact system that provides high-speed signal transmission. The mating connector block provides an electrical connection between 2 layers of the connector board. The backplane board features a rigid powerplane to provide a mechanical connection between the board and a mating backplane.
