The 511LBB-AAAG programmable oscillator is a unique system for generating sine waveforms with frequency ranges varying from 0.01 Hz to 18 MHz. It is capable of producing an output frequency with an accuracy of 0.5%. The package of the 511LBB-AAAG processor is small and its output power is low, up to 5 Watts. The 511LBB-AAAG oscillator operates based on the principle of synchronization and phase-locked loop (PLL) technology. It monitors and generates a reference waveform in its internal voltage-controlled oscillator for synchronization. With the PLL integrated, the reference waveform can be used to lock the phase of the oscillator and output a precise waveform. The output frequency of the 511LBB-AAAG is controlled by the charging and discharging of an external capacitor that is connected to an internally generated PWM signal through a digital-to-analog converter.
This oscillator can be controlled by the user with a 4-wire digital interface (up to 12-bits resolution). The 4-wire interface allows users to program the output frequency of the 511LBB-AAAG as well as the open-drain/open-collector output voltage and digital input voltage.
