512MLFT Integrated Circuits (ICs)

512MLFT, or multi-loop frequency synthesis, is a clock generator technology that is widely used in many industries. Each loop divider will take the main clock, and divide it into a specific number. This will create four separate frequency outputs.

The four frequency outputs will then be sent through a digital-controlled oscillator (DCO). This oscillator allows the frequencies to be quickly latched and adjusted, as needed. The DCO is capable of producing extremely stable frequencies by creating a feedback loop between the oscillator and the loop dividers. By taking feedback from the dividers, the DCO is able to adjust its frequencies to stay in tune with the frequencies from the dividers. This feedback creates a very tightly locked system that outputs very low-jitter frequency signals.
