The 5250-RC is a fixed inductor with a fixed inductance value and an operating temperature range between -40°C and 125°C. The inductor is made using an iron-based core and has an internal resistance that is typically between 900 milliohms and 6,000 milliohms. This low resistance allows the device to be used in high frequency designs. The maximum current rating is 4 Amps, with a maximum voltage rating of 100 Volts.

Fixed inductors work by inducing a voltage across the cores of the inductor when current passes through the coil. This leads to the accumulation of energy in the form of a magnetic field.
