Pin Configurable/ Selectable Oscillators are cost effective solutions for many frequency requirements and can be used for a variety of applications including high frequency telecommunications, audio signal control, frequency synthesizers and precision timing applications. The 534NA002402DG is one of these solutions and is suitable for frequency applications from 300kHz to 200 MHz.
This device is capable of outputs of TTL, LVCMOS, HCMOS, and LVDS and is available in both surface mount and through hole package options. Built with Multi-Loop Oscillator Technology, the 534NA002402DG is capable of both precise and precise frequency generation over a wide range of temperatures. The device also has a very low jitter characteristic at low frequencies and excellent phase noise performance at higher frequencies.
As with other pin Configurable/ Selectable Oscillators, the 534NA002402DG works by selecting appropriate components in the package using the on board pins. Depending on the application and requirements, certain pins can be used to appropriately select the correct components that will generate the specified output frequency. This can be done by applying voltages to the pins to make them high or low. Depending on the combinations of the pin states, it is then possible to obtain the required frequency as an output.
In addition to frequency selection, the 534NA002402DG also provides other features that can be configured using the pins.
