Pin Configurable/Selectable OscillatorsThe 554BD000163DG is a time-saving solution for multi-frequency design challenges. It is an easy to use pin configurable, selectable oscillator designed to stabilize the temperature of a device, providing reliability in a wide range of industrial devices. This oscillator is often used in industrial, medical, automotive, networking, communication and military applications.The lightweight and compact size of the 554BD000163DG makes it ideal for integrating into designs that require high accuracy and stability while meeting compliance regulations. The oscillator offers a wide frequency range from 6.5 MHz to 32 MHz, provides excellent jitter and phase noise performance, and supports performance up to 150°C.The 554BD000163DG has an internal Frequency/Temperature Diagnostic System (FTDS) with four diagnostic pins. This ensures that each time the load frequency is set, the oscillator will adjust itself to the temperature, guaranteeing excellent phase noise and jitter performance. The internal FTDS combined with the advanced temperature compensation design, allows the 554BD000163DG to deliver higher performance and better reliability, even when there are large variations in temperature.The 554BD000163DG has two Control Input Pins and two Selectable Input Pins. The two Control Input Pins can be used to set the options and frequencies of the oscillator. This is achieved by applying logic levels to the two pins to determine the frequency characteristics of the oscillator. The Selectable Input Pins are used to select the output frequency of the oscillator. This is done by applying logic levels to the pins to determine the output frequency of the oscillator.The 554BD000163DG features an Internal Programmable Oscillator (IPO) to give users the ability to adjust the frequency of the oscillator as needed. This can be done through the logic levels of the Control Input Pins or by programming the IPO through the I2C bus. The IPO also has integrated calibration to ensure the highest level of accuracy.The 554BD000163DG is designed to be easy to use, cost effective, and reliable. It is ideal for applications that require the highest accuracy and stability and the ability to meet compliance regulations. With the time-saving solution provided by the 554BD000163DG, engineers can quickly configure and select frequencies for their projects. The onboard control pins and selectable input pins allow engineers to adjust the oscillator without the aid of a programmer.
