The 5958-22 Fuseholder has a special heat-resistant thermoplastic shell which is capable of withstanding temperatures from -40 to 125 °C (-40 to 257 °F). This helps to ensure that the fuse holder can be used in a variety of extreme conditions. The 5958-22 also has an embedded polymer coating on its terminals which provides additional protection from corrosion and other environmental influences.

The 5958-22 Fuseholder is designed for use with a variety of fuse sizes. It is compatible with fuses ranging in size from 1A to 30A. The holder also has enough clearance for up to three standard-size cartridge fuses with a maximum current rating of 30A. This allows the 5958-22 to be used in both AC and DC applications.
