5G technology, or 5G, is an emerging technology that promises faster speeds and more reliable connectivity than existing 4G networks. 5G networks are based on the 5th generation of cellular network technology and are currently being developed around the world. 5G enables an increased level of connectivity and lower latency than 4G networks, making it suitable for applications such as virtual reality, autonomous vehicles and other high bandwidth applications.
