The rated current of the 5TT 100 is 100A, meaning it can handle up to 100 amps of current without tripping and breaking the circuit. Its maximum interrupting current rating is 10,000A, meaning that it can handle up to 10,000 amps of current before the fuse trips and shuts off the circuit.

The 5TT 100 is a dual element fuse, meaning it has two elements that work together to protect the circuit. The two elements are the thermal and magnetic elements. The thermal element works by detecting an overload and rising in temperature until it reaches the point when it operates quickly to shut off the circuit.
