600R150-RAF adopts PPTC (Polymeric Positive Temp. Coefficient) as the core element, and it’s the same as other PTC resettable fuses. When current is within Rating, PPTC remains in low resistance state and no protection, let the current pass through, which forms the normal circuit. While the current exceeds rating, PPTC’s internal resistance dramatically increases to stop the current, and 600R150-RAF enters the protection status. The voltage across PPTC increases, then the fused element start to operate, leading the current to reduce to the safe situation. When the current declines to the normal value, PPTC will start to recover and 600R150-RAF works again.

600R150-RAF has a temperature characteristic of forward–resistance ratio (R1/R2), recovery voltage (Vh), leakage current (IL)and no power consumption in the off-state. It also has high precision in the range of 115V-40A. In addition, 600R150-RAF adopts the SOFT EXIT Mode technology, which uses a time-dependent management scheme, making sure the product safe to operate in the low temperature environment.
