The aluminum cup shell is further surrounded by a black UV resistant thermoplastic to completely protect the pin connections.The 65846-012LF is in-line polarized with 2.54mm/0.1" spacing, making it ideal for use in computer and data transmission systems, as well as for power distribution systems or general purpose applications. The connector is designed to accept and securely hold jumper wires, with the possibility of installing optional mounting screws for secure installation.Thanks to its low profile design (only 1.8 mm/0.07"), the 65846-012LF can be placed in tight spaces that were once too small for other similar connectors. Additionally, it provides an enclosure rating of IP20, meaning that it is protected from fingers or other objects greater than 12.5mm in width.The 65846-012LF has 2-circuits and was designed with 4.2A current rating to ensure robust, durable and reliable connections. The device features 24AWG, 28AWG or 30AWG insulation displacement contacts (IDC), with a limited number of range selection possibilities available on request (including 1A, 2A, 3A, 4A).
