65EET Application Field and Working Principle
The 65EET fuses are designed for professional electrical applications. It is UL Listed and CSA Certified, and meets IEC and VDE standards. This type of fuse is well suited for applications which require current limiting protection. This type of fuse has a unique design that helps reduce the risk of current overloads and increases system efficiency. The 65EET fuses have a threaded external shell type construction with a three-piece internal design. This type of construction is beneficial because it provides a quick response in the event of an overload. The external shell is made of steel and has a zinc chromium plating for improved corrosion resistance. The internal components are made of silicone, silicone rubber, and aluminum. The pieces are then bonded together with an epoxy/urethane resin and used to form the permanent connection between the fuse elements. Inside the 65EET fuse is an arc tube. This tube is made of an insulated mica material and has two shell elements which are connected together. The outer shell is made from a high-temperature alloy and is designed to contain the electrical field generated when the fuse is in operation. The inner shell is made of an insulated silicone rubber material and is designed to contain an inert gas. The arc tube also contains an internal resistor in the form of a ceramic tube. This resistor helps to limit the current which can flow through the arc tube. A high-tension wire is also used to help increase the level of protection by reducing the risk of flashover and current imbalances. When the 65EET fuse is connected to a circuit, the current will flow through the arc tube. When current levels exceed the specified amount, the arc tube will heat up, causing the resistor to increase resistance. This will result in a further increase in the current, which will vaporize the internals of the arc tube and cause a current surge. The current surge will cause the capacitor to break down, thereby creating an area of high pressure. This high pressure triggers the opening of the fuse and the circuit is disconnected. Once the current levels have dropped, the fuse can be reset and the circuit will be reestablished. The 65EET fuses provide protection against both overloads and short circuits. They can be used in a variety of applications, such as power supplies, motors, transformers, and circuit breakers. The superior design and reliable performance make them an ideal choice for many electrical installations. The specific data is subject to PDF, and the above content is for reference
