The design consists of dual headers and a low profile receptacle which houses a female socket. The headers are compliant to plan O-ring retainer for secure connections and latching retention and designed to eliminate any unplanned mating. The female sockets are secure and provide a robust and reliable electrical path from the contacts to the mating plug.
The 66925-037 headers and receptacles each feature two rows of standard 0.083" square contacts that are 0.062" pitch and gold-plated over nickel. The two rows have 40-positions and the 80-positions mate together at a 90° angle. The housing is designed to be secure but easy-to-use, featuring a large front entry and latchless mating. The design is optimised to reduce mechanical noise caused from high cycle mating applications.
The reception of the 66925-037 is flexible to accommodate both 1 A and 5 A current requirements, providing reliable power supply to enclosed equipment.
