This product is lightweight, offers excellent electrical insulation performance, and is designed to meet a wide range of temperature requirements.The core of 6715 BK005 is composed of a highly-flexible titanium-plated copper conductor. The titanium plating not only provides superior mechanical protection, but also improves the strength, overall durability and longevity of the cable. This plating eliminates the necessity of mechanical or manual stripping during installation, thus resulting in cost-efficiencies and time-savings. The cable is UL listed, CSA certified, and backed by a 10-year manufacturer’s warranty. The conductor is covered with a black polyvinyl chloride (PVC) jacket. The jacket encapsulates the cable to provide excellent insulation protection. It is abrasion resistant, flame retardant and meets a wide range of temperature requirements, from -55˚C (-67°F) to 105˚C (221°F). The jacket is also UV resistant for outdoor protection. The cable is available in a variety of sizes, strands, and colors. The typical sizes range from 0.34 mm/20 AWG through 0.89mm/12AWG.
