Working Principle

In many optoisolators, the detected voltage level must be amplified into a usable signal level. In the 6N139-X009, however, the detector provides a voltage output directly, eliminating the need for amplification circuitry. This optoisolator is capable of providing an isolation voltage rating of 150 to 300 Volts, making it suitable for use in industrial control systems.
