This junction is electrically insulated by a silver alloy layer which is heated and cooled by applying a DC voltage. By monitoring the heat generated by the device, the modules can be operated without the need for cooling fans, enabling more reliable operation with less noise.The functionality of the 70200-504 Peltier Modules is based on the thermoelectric effect, a physical phenomenon in which a dissipated heat from one side of the module causes a heat transfer to the other side of the device, generating electrical energy. This electrical energy is represented as a voltage and current.
