• Working principle

The 71991-305H series rectangular connectors can handle up to 2.0 Amp current. In order to ensure reliable and stable data transmission, all standard connectors are matched with two special contact designs to meet the highest requirements. The contact design and the polarization between the two contact designs will accommodate a variety of cable assemblies including: twinax, coax, twinaxial with a snap-in feature, and power/data with feed thru.

The 71991-305H series connector components consist of a modular Hood, plastic Housing, metal Insulator and Contacts. Metal Insulators provide the bite for reliable electrical connection, coupled with Contacts that contact the mating contacts with an added “clamp feature”. This “Clamp feature” is designed to increase the overall reliability and signal strength of the connectors when used in these harsh environment.
