Writing to the 7204L15J FIFO is done by confirming the write flag and applying data to the write bus. Then, the read counter updates the address pointer to the next empty entry in the FIFO. To read from the 7204L15J FIFO, the read flag is confirmed and the read address is forwarded to the read bus. After confirming the read flag, the read address is forwarded to the read bus. This process continually relocates the read pointer to continue read operations. The 7204L15J FIFO also provides empty flags and full flags, which can be used to detect read and write conditions.
