726ATLFT devices are Frequency Synthesizers specifically designed to meet the needs of applications requiring ultra low-phase noise, wide tuning ranges and high stablity. Generating clock frequencies from 1MHz to 40GHz, they feature high phase-noise performance, high phase jitter rejection, wide tuning range and fast settling time. These devices offer a great level of flexibility and bring the highest performance, stability and accuracy to communications systems, instrumentation, test & measurement, aerospace and defense.
The 726ATLFT implements a low-noise, high-frequency synthesis architecture to generate precise clock frequencies to within 1ppb of accuracy. This is accomplished by a combination of digital and analog blocks, with a step-tuning analog to digital converter (ADC) that uses a low-noise digital low-pass filter. The output of the low-pass filter is then used to control the output frequency, providing a stable output, even during rapid tuning changes. The advanced control functions of the device, such as negative control, modulation control and user-tunable loop bandwidths, allow for fine-tuning of the output frequency.
The 726ATLFT is designed to be used in a wide range of applications where precise clocking and timing are required, such as communication systems, instrumentation and test & measurement equipment, aerospace and defense.
