74ABT543APW is a member of the ABT543A range of integrated circuits- a 3.3 V Advanced Buffer/Transceiver designed to operate from a 1.65 to 3.6 V for VCC. It has a wide industrial temperature range and is ESD: HBM 2KV, MM 200V and CDM 2000V tolerant. It performs active bus termination powered from the VCC, interface logic levels to VCC, CCL up to 6.5mbps and it supports very low input and logic levels. Its complex internal logic includes extremely low active and stand-by power dissipation, very low cross talk, high skew rates, fast output transition times and all core voltage support.

74ABT543APW is suitable for applications which require numerous trade-offs between low power consumption, strong logic levels, and high speed switching. It has great applications in many fields such as communications, portable instrumentations, and medical devices. It is ideal for these applications where power consumption, logic level and speed are main concerns. It interfaces with logic levels from 0.35V up to 3.3V, and is designed for industrial, automotive, audio and medical applications.
Working Principle:
The 74ABT543APW is designed to operate from VCC of 1.65 to 3.6 V with Dual supply levels of 2.5V and/or 3.3V. It features a 3.3V dual supply operation, where the voltage swing is preserved to 3.3V even when one supply is VCC. It has an input schmitt-trigger with hysteresis to ensure a clean transition level and there are two input enables I/PEN to control both the receiving and transmission of data. It has slew rate control and a programmable propagation delay. Its output current is two times higher than the ABT544 series while its output side has low leakage currents in standby mode.
