The 74ACT16841DL is a 16-bit advanced high speed CMOS register, which is mainly utilized for high-performance data communications, computer systems, and telecommunication systems. As compared to the low-cost static RAMs, this complicated device has much higher performance and more superior features like a flexible input/output stage, small propagation delays, and low-power consumption on dynamic CMOS. The 74ACT1684DL operates in the Latches logic family, and it has two-part logic functions.

The first part is the data latches, which can latch or store data and control signals during the system functioning. These store data during the operations, allowing the device to control and read the data within different systems. The second part is the data transceivers, which enable the device to buffering and transmitting data.
