It is designed to extend logic range and reduce loading with TTL and JEDEC approved signal levels, and is fully compatible with TTL levels operating at most of the common logic levels. The 74AHC244D,112 is primarily used in driving data and address buses, and can also be used as output ports or signal lines. It consists of two main parts - the octal transceiver and the three-state outputs. The octal driver allows the reception and transmission of logic signals, and through the help of the three-state outputs, data can be outputted or received depending on the particular application.When the “output enable” input (OE) is high, the output lines are disabled and the input lines become active.
