74F04PC is a general-purpose high-performance(NAND) plane logic gate integration element in the CMOS (complementary metal oxide semiconductor) series. Its internal circuit is composed of NAND plane logical operation circuit of two inputs and one output.

The application field of 74F04PC is quite broad. It can be used for the logic circuit of data processing and control, for the two-input coincident comparison, and for the circuit of memory read and write control. It also has applications in many commercial fields, such as automation systems, audio systems, computer networks and optical communications, etc.

The working principle of 74F04PC is to input two single-bit digital signals, and binary logic operation is performed to obtain the result output. There are four conditions of input signals in a 74F04PC, namely 00, 01, 10, and 11. The corresponding output results are 0, 0, 0, and 1.
